Reason 9: Inability to reschedule work based on resource vacation time

Scenario: PM want to assign the task to Software Development team. So based on availability, team member can self-assign the task. (or) Team lead can re-assign the task to next available team member

Project Server 2003:

In Project Server 2003, planned vacation time per resource appears as scheduled work. System does not update the resource calendars and not capable to reschedule the project work dynamically based on resource non availability.

Project Server 2007:

Submitting non working time (Vacation time) through the timesheet creates the resource calendar exceptions, so project work can be rescheduled automatically.
