Manage Deliverables in Project Workspace
You can also manage deliverables in Project Workspace. Deliverables created on MS Project Plan will also appeared in Project Workspace.
You have the ability to view/edit the deliverables are previously created on MS Project and also you have the ability to create new deliverables for the project. System treats the Deliverable section on workspace as server repository for project deliverables.
Steps:
- Launch PWA home page -> Click the name of the project under Project Workspaces section
- Project Server opens a new browser and navigates to the Project Workspace for the selected project
- Click on "Deliverables" link on the left menu (Quick Launch)
- You will see the Deliverables page and you see the deliverables created earlier from MS Project Plan aalong with deliverables created on Project Workspace (if any);
Create new deliverable:
- Click the New -> New Item
- System displays the Deliverables entry window
- Enter needed information
- Optional Step: If you want to attach a file to the Deliverable, click the "Attach File" link at the above to Title column -> Click "Browse" button and select the required file by clicking "Open" button
- Click "OK" button to create the new deliverable
Edit deliverable:
Steps:
Click on Deliverable name to view the information about deliverable
To edit the deliverable, click the "Edit Item" link; to delete the deliverable, click the "Delete" link; To setup an e-mail alert on deliverable, click on "Alert Me"
