Step 8: Inspect your data in the Project Server 2010 farm

Log on to Project Web Access and check whether your data has migrated properly. Also connect to Project Server using Project Professional and make sure you can view, edit and publish the project plan. Verify that you can access the Project Workspace URLs. In Project Server 2010, Project Workspaces are named as Project Sites. Please do the following steps and verify the correct URLs listed against Project Sites.



Test 1: Navigate to PWA home in Project Server 2010:





Test 2: Navigate to Project Center in Project Server 2010:









Test 3: Navigate to Project Site in Project Server 2010:





Test 4: Verify the Project Site URLs listed correctly :

Steps:
  • On the Project Server 2010 home page, click Server Settings

  • On the Server Settings page, in the Operational Policies section, click Project Sites and verify the correct URL is listed against Project Site.

    If you see the blank URLs for Project Sites as below, update the sites URLs to reflect the new URL.











    Proceed to Step 9
