Can I use Master Projects in Project Server? MS Project Server 2003: Yes, allow them to be saved but not published so that they do not show up in PWA and therefore will not double count your roll up values in Project Center. You will be able to use the Master Project in Project Professional. When creating the master project you should insert the subprojects in read only and do not include any standalone tasks within the master project itself as you will not be able to publish and view those tasks in PWA. Please read for more details: Creating Master Project in Project Server 2003 MS Project Server 2007: MS Project Server 2007 supports master projects and allows us to save and publish to the server.
