You can export Project Center, Timesheet and Resource Center data grids to MS-Excel 2003 by clicking the link below of the grid “Export to Excel”
Contents will be displayed in MS-Excel application as below:
Export Grid to Excel - VB Script Error :
If you see the VB Script error "The ActiveX control on which this feature depends could not be created." by clicking the Export to Excel link:
Please verify the IE settings by doing the following:
Steps:
- Launch IE browser
- On Tools menu -> Internet options -> click on Security tab ->
select Trusted Site under security zone box
- Click on "Custom Level" under security level for this zone
- Look for ActiveX controls and plug-ins; under this option please set the following settings:
Download signed ActiveX controls -> Prompt
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins -> Enable
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting -> Enable
- Click OK to close the IE settings window
- Click OK to close the IE options window
The above settings will help in resolve the issue. You may need to close all opened browser windows and re-open the program before your new settings take hold and become active.
