Validation of Outlook integration
Once the entire steps of Outlook integration steps performed, please do the following checks to make sure that PWA is integrated with Outlook for task reporting.
Launch MS Outlook and perform the following validations
1) Outlook PWA Connectivity
On Outlook, Tools menu -> Options -> Project Web Access -> Click on “Enter Login Information
The following screen will be displayed. Please click on “Test Connection”
After clicking on Test Connection, you will get the following message will be displayed.
2) Outlook PWA Menu Options
Please make sure under Tools menu, you are seeing Project Web Access with following options:
- Import New Assignments
- Update Project Web Access
- Project Web Access home page
- Help
The above two steps verifies the installation of PWA outlook plug-in has been successful.
Now, you can import task updates from PWA into Outlook.
