Step 2: Define Permissions on Library

Steps:
  • On home page of the site, click Documents link and access the document library (In this example, I am accessing the document library called “PMO Documents”)
  • Click on Settings -> Document Library Settings



  • Under Permissions and Management, click Permissions for this document library
  • You will see the list of the users and security groups can access this document library
  • Click Actions -> Edit Permissions to define unique permissions on Document Library



  • Click OK on prompt related to creation of unique permissions



  • Click on Type to sort out the list by groups/users



  • Select all the unwanted users/groups; Click Actions -> Remove User Permissions




Now, PMO Documents library can accessible by only PMO Team. The other users who have access to the site can not view this document library.
