Left Navigation: Left navigation portion will be called as Quick Launch. You can customize quick launch by add/modify/delete links and reorder links.
Quick launch settings can be done by accessing Look and Feel area under Site Settings.
Steps:
At upper right of the site, click on Site Actions menu, click Site Settings
Click Quick Launch under Look and Feel section
The Quick Launch page appears
You have the following options on Quick Launch page.
New Heading: This option enables to add new heading on left navigation. You have to specify the heading name and URL of the heading. Once you define the heading, please use “New Link” option to define sub links.
New Link: This option enables to add new link under existing heading on left navigation. You have to specify the Link name and URL of the link. You also have the option to associate the required heading to the link.
Change Order Link: This option enables to reorder the links on left navigation.
Edit/Delete Link: You can edit/delete the links that you no longer require.

To modify the link, update URL/description and click OK
To delete the link, click Delete
